1. Eligibility
- Letters must be submitted by a registered subscriber account.
- Submissions must include a valid display name and contactable account information.
2. Editorial Standards
We evaluate letters based on editorial standards, not political alignment alone.
- No personal attacks, harassment, threats, or hate speech.
- No defamatory accusations or claims presented without support.
- No doxxing, private personal information, or targeted intimidation.
- No spam, promotional pitches, or duplicate campaign submissions.
3. Review Process
- All letters are reviewed by editors before approval or publication.
- Editors may reject, approve, or request revisions for clarity and standards compliance.
- Editors may correct grammar and formatting while preserving your meaning.
4. Publication Decisions
- Publication is discretionary and based on quality, civility, and relevance.
- Not all approved letters are guaranteed publication due to editorial capacity.
- We may withhold publication where legal, safety, or ethical concerns exist.
5. Your Responsibility
- You are responsible for the accuracy of your submission.
- By submitting, you grant Beverly Hills Standard permission to publish and archive your letter.
- Submitted letters may be edited for length and style.
