9. Registered Users, Public Content, and Account Deletion
If you create an account, submit comments, save content, follow topics or authors, communicate with support, or otherwise use registered features, we process information needed to operate those features. Public-facing actions such as comments, profile names, profile photos, and certain reactions may be visible to other users.
You may request deletion of your account through available account controls or by contacting us. Deleting an account may remove or deactivate your access, profile, saved items, and preferences, but we may retain certain information where necessary for compliance, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, backup integrity, and enforcement of our policies. We may also retain de-identified or aggregated information.
10. Children's Privacy and Age Suitability
Our Services are intended for a general audience and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without authorization required by law. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 in a manner not permitted by law, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information.
