Beverly Hills Appoints Donna Gillman to Recreation and Parks Commission

The Beverly Hills City Council has named Donna Gillman, a current board member of the Beverly Hills Education Foundation, to the Recreation and Parks Commission.

Donna Gillman, an active member of the Beverly Hills Education Foundation board of directors for the 2024-2025 term, has been appointed to the city's Recreation and Parks Commission.

The five-member commission advises the City Council, city manager, and director of Community Services on matters related to parks, recreational programs, and leisure services.

Gillman joins a panel responsible for recommending policies and improvements to the city's extensive network of parks, facilities, and community events.

Her involvement with the Beverly Hills Education Foundation, a nonprofit that raises funds to support enhanced educational programs in the Beverly Hills Unified School District, highlights her commitment to community enrichment.

The foundation, established in 1978, provides supplemental resources for academics, arts, athletics, and innovation across district schools.

Appointments to the Recreation and Parks Commission are made by the City Council to fill terms as vacancies arise, ensuring diverse perspectives on quality-of-life issues in the city.
