Beverly Hills High School to Host Oct. 1 College Fair

Beverly Hills High School will bring representatives from more than 30 colleges together for its annual Fall College Fair on Thursday, Oct. 1, giving students and parents an opportunity to discuss their options directly with college representatives.

The 2026 fair will run from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on the school's third-floor patio, according to an announcement provided to the Beverly Hills Standard. The event flyer lists the BHHS PTSA as a partner.

The evening continues a college-planning program that has drawn institutions from across the country. In its account of the fall 2025 fair, Beverly Hills Unified School District reported participation by more than 40 colleges and universities, with students learning about academic programs and speaking with admissions representatives.

"This is more than a college fair, it's a cornerstone of how we support our students," Principal Loan Sriruksa said in the district's October 2025 report.

A separate district report on the spring 2025 fair described more than 50 participating colleges and universities. Held in the Media Center and B1 Patio, that event included public and private universities, liberal arts colleges and out-of-state schools. Representatives discussed admissions, scholarships, academic programs and campus life with students and families.

For this year's event, Marist University lists the Oct. 1 Beverly Hills High School Fall College Fair on its admissions travel schedule, with the same 5:30 to 7 p.m. hours announced by the school.

The fairs complement the high school's broader college guidance program. According to the BHHS College Center, students and families begin college-planning activities in ninth grade and work more closely with their guidance counselor and college counselor in eleventh grade. Students can also use Naviance to view and register for college representative visits.

The Oct. 1 fair gives families a single evening on campus to meet representatives from multiple colleges as students consider their next steps after high school.
