Beverly Hills Hosts Television's Biggest Names for Emmy Weekend

Beverly Hills welcomed some of television's biggest names for Emmy weekend, with Avra, Spago, Marea and The Maybourne providing the settings for celebrations surrounding the September 14 awards. Actors, writers and industry leaders gathered across the city, bringing the festivities to some of its best-known dining and hospitality destinations.

At Avra Beverly Hills on North Beverly Drive, WME held its September 12 celebration with guests including Noah Wyle, Katherine LaNasa, Riz Ahmed, Lorne Michaels and George R.R. Martin. The gathering brought together talent associated with "The Pitt," "Saturday Night Live" and the "Game of Thrones" universe, alongside television executives including HBO's Casey Bloys.

Wyle went on to win his second consecutive Emmy for outstanding lead actor in a drama series for "The Pitt." The show also repeated as outstanding drama series, connecting the Beverly Hills celebrations to two of Monday night's major awards.

On North Canon Drive, Spago hosted a September 11 celebration of "Hacks" in partnership with UTA, honoring creators Lucia Aniello, Paul W. Downs and Jen Statsky. The restaurant added another chapter to its association with the entertainment industry as the comedy's creative team gathered during Emmy weekend.

The series subsequently earned another major acting honor when Jean Smart won her fifth consecutive Emmy for outstanding lead actress in a comedy series.

The Maybourne Beverly Hills hosted BAFTA's September 13 TV Tea Party, welcoming a broad cross-section of television talent to its North Canon Drive address. BAFTA's official event gallery featured Kaley Cuoco, Tom Pelphrey, Riz Ahmed, Rufus Sewell, Sarah Snook, Laverne Cox, Jessica Williams and Richard Gadd.

Several members of "The Pitt" ensemble also attended, including Fiona Dourif, Tal Anderson, Sepideh Moafi and Patrick Ball. The gathering brought performers from established favorites and newer series together at the Beverly Hills hotel.

Marea Beverly Hills contributed a daytime celebration, hosting the September 11 Emmy brunch organized by UTA, Women in Film and The Cut. The North Camden Drive restaurant welcomed an event whose portrait participants included "Pluribus" star Rhea Seehorn, "Paradise" actress Enuka Okuma and "Matlock" actress Skye P. Marshall.

Seehorn later won outstanding lead actress in a drama series for "Pluribus," adding another connection between the city's Emmy-week gatherings and Monday's winners.

Across the weekend, Beverly Hills offered a variety of settings for television's celebrations: brunch at Marea, gatherings at Avra and Spago, and BAFTA's tea party at The Maybourne. Together, those events placed the city's restaurants and hotels firmly within the festivities surrounding the 2026 Emmy Awards.
