Beverly Hills Preschool Welcomes Families as Program Joins BHUSD

Beverly Hills Preschool welcomed families to open houses at its Hawthorne and Horace Mann campuses as the program transitions from the City of Beverly Hills to Beverly Hills Unified School District.

The events gave families an opportunity to meet educators, learn about the program and see the spaces where their children will begin preschool, according to a post on the program's Instagram account, @preschool.bhusd.

"Thank you to the families who joined us for a wonderful Beverly Hills Preschool Open House at our Hawthorne and Horace Mann campuses!" the program wrote.

The open houses offered a direct introduction to the people and places behind the transition. For families, the campus visits connected the change in program oversight with the classrooms and educators who will serve their children.

"It was a joy to introduce families to our educators, share our program, and explore the spaces where our youngest learners will grow."

The program described its move into BHUSD as a continuation of the city's preschool foundation and an opportunity to welcome families into the district before elementary school.

"As the preschool program transitions from the City of Beverly Hills to Beverly Hills Unified School District, we are proud to build on its foundation and welcome families into the BHUSD community from the very beginning."
