In a move that puts students front and center, BHUSD’s new five-year deal with Nike and BSN SPORTS is more than a partnership—it’s a statement of pride, unity, and high standards for every kid who walks through its doors.

The Beverly Hills Unified School District has just raised the bar for what it means to invest in students. With a bold, five-year partnership with Nike and BSN SPORTS set to begin July 1, 2025, BHUSD isn't just upgrading its uniforms—it’s elevating student pride and reshaping what representation looks like on and off the field.

This district-wide collaboration will outfit student-athletes with elite-level Nike gear—the same standard worn by professionals around the globe. But what makes this deal truly groundbreaking is its scope: every school, every student stands to benefit. Whether you're a third grader in a school play, a senior in marching band, or a parent cheering in the stands, you’re now part of a unified BHUSD identity that signals excellence.

This is the kind of decision that says loud and clear: our kids deserve the best. No more hand-me-downs. No more outdated jerseys. What BHUSD has done here is honor the effort, talent, and school pride that lives in every student—and reflect it back with quality, style, and intention.
“This partnership is a major step forward for BHUSD,” said Dr. Alex Cherniss, Superintendent of Schools. “Our student-athletes will now compete in the highest quality gear available, and our entire community will benefit from enhanced branding and spiritwear that reflects the pride we have in each school.”
It’s not just about performance—it’s about community. Board of Education member Russell Stuart, who championed this initiative, made that clear:
“This is more than uniforms, it’s a symbol of unity. Nike represents athletic excellence on a global scale, and BHUSD represents educational excellence in one of the most iconic communities in the world. Together, this partnership says our students deserve the best. It’s about uniting every campus, every sport, every family around a shared commitment to greatness. We are proud to lead, proud to win, and excited to do it together.”
Beginning with the 2025–2026 school year, BHUSD athletic programs—from football to tennis and everything in between—will take the field, the court, and the community stage in official Nike uniforms. But the impact doesn’t stop at athletics. A new online store will make BHUSD-branded Nike gear available to students, families, alumni, and fans, further strengthening the district’s collective identity.

BSN SPORTS, as the exclusive distributor, will support this rollout with streamlined logistics, direct service to coaches, and a unified visual branding system across all campuses. The inclusion of a guest speaker series and a district-wide branding package shows that this isn’t just a gear drop—it’s a culture shift.

This partnership is about honoring student potential, amplifying school pride, and investing in community. With Nike and BSN SPORTS now in their corner, BHUSD students are stepping into their future with confidence, visibility, and a sense of belonging that’s second to none.
