For Tara Kashfian, the next chapter will begin at UCLA.
The Beverly Hills High School senior, part of the Class of 2026, will attend the University of California, Los Angeles this fall, where she plans to major in Jewish Studies at one of the nation’s top public universities.
Kashfian’s path through Beverly Hills Unified began at El Rodeo Elementary School, continued through Beverly Vista Middle School and led to Beverly Hills High School, where she built a record marked by strong academics and steady involvement in campus life.
An AP Scholar, she took on a demanding course load while remaining active outside the classroom as a member of the BHHS Girls Varsity Tennis Team. She has also stayed closely connected to the broader community through her work with local synagogues, reflecting an ongoing commitment to service and cultural engagement.
“Congratulations to Tara on her admission to UCLA,” BHUSD Board of Education President Judith Manouchehri said. “Tara’s strong academic record, commitment to her school community, and consistent hard work reflect the high standards we strive for in BHUSD. We look forward to seeing her continued success in the years ahead.”
As she prepares to leave Beverly Hills High behind, Kashfian does so with a foundation shaped by scholarship, community involvement and years spent growing within BHUSD.
