BHUSD Names Its First PRIME Ambassador

Beverly Hills Unified School District has launched the PRIME Ambassador Program to create paid jobs for graduates of its special education program, with Ethan becoming its first participant as the district office receptionist.

The district’s PRIME program serves students from 4 through 22 years old. The new employment initiative extends that work by providing some program graduates with paid positions within BHUSD.

Superintendent Dr. Alex Cherniss announced Ethan’s appointment in a social media post, describing the hiring as the beginning of a new chapter for the district.

“I couldn’t be more proud of our new District Office Receptionist! Ethan represents a new chapter in BHUSD, as our first Prime Ambassador.”

As the district’s first PRIME Ambassador, Ethan is helping introduce a program designed to connect graduates with paid workplace opportunities. His position places him at the district office, where he has joined the team as its new receptionist.

Cherniss said Ethan’s smile and positive attitude have already become contagious among district employees.

The PRIME Ambassador Program provides a new opportunity for graduates to continue developing professional experience while contributing directly to the school district that served them.

Ethan’s appointment marks both an individual accomplishment and the first step in a broader BHUSD initiative intended to provide additional PRIME graduates with paid employment opportunities.
