Beverly Hills is inviting vendors to help turn Roxbury Park's "Wiggly Field" into a gathering place for pets and their people when Doggy Daze 90210 returns Sunday, November 1. Applications for the event are due Thursday, October 15, according to the city's announcement.
The 16th annual celebration will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 471 S. Roxbury Drive. Admission is free, with activities intended for families, pet owners and visitors considering bringing an animal into their lives.
The city's announced lineup includes a pet parade, a pet talent contest, pet-related and pet-friendly vendors, adoptions and food trucks. The Beverly Hills Conference & Visitors Bureau's event listing also describes dog agility and obedience demonstrations, giving visitors opportunities to watch trained dogs in action alongside the shopping and entertainment.
For participating businesses, the vendor call offers a chance to introduce products and services directly to an audience interested in pets. For residents, those booths are one part of a broader afternoon that brings recreation, animal adoption and neighborhood connections together in a public park.
Doggy Daze has established an annual presence at Roxbury. The city's calendar listed the 2025 event for November 2, also from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., with free admission, adoption opportunities and pet-related vendors. A 2024 event listing from rescue organization Wags and Walks likewise highlighted the parade, talent contest and pet-friendly vendors, showing how those activities have remained central to the celebration.
This year's program adds a Pet Ofrenda display, a space to celebrate and remember beloved pets. The city invites visitors to bring a framed pet photo no larger than 5 by 7 inches. Visitors may also bring a 4-by-6-inch photo to decorate a wooden frame onsite, with free frames and supplies available while they last.
The city says the participating vendor list and detailed event schedule are still to come. Businesses interested in joining should review the application through beverlyhills.org/csevents before the October 15 deadline. Families can find program updates and Pet Ofrenda details on the city's Doggy Daze event page.
