El Rodeo’s Class of 2025 marked a milestone this week as the first group to promote from the newly reopened campus, leaving a legacy defined by leadership, character, and community spirit.

El Rodeo Elementary School celebrated a meaningful milestone on May 28, 2025, as its fifth-grade students became the first promoting class since the campus reopened earlier this school year. More than a ceremony, this event honored a group of students who helped shape the culture of a refreshed school with their resilience, kindness, and maturity.

As the inaugural class to experience the modernized El Rodeo, these fifth graders stepped into their roles with pride and purpose. They didn’t just return to a new building—they helped define what it means to be part of this new chapter in the school’s history.
“These Eagles have defined what it means to be part of El Rodeo,” said Principal Sarah Kaber. “They led with heart, lifted one another up, and showed our entire community what it looks like to live our values every day. Their legacy will inspire generations to come.”
The promotion event reflected the strong relationships and shared values that grew throughout the year—values embraced by both students and staff. It was a celebration of achievement, yes, but more so of the character and cooperation that made the year meaningful.

Now, these Eagles are ready to become Bulldogs as they move on to Beverly Vista Middle School. They leave behind not just memories, but a solid foundation for the students who will follow—one rooted in shared responsibility, principled behavior, and a genuine love for their school community.
