I lived next to Nessah. After the tragic and preventable Nessah Synagogue break-in, I urged our then Chief of Police to add Nessah to be protected by Beverly Hills CCTV security. City workers were the next day installing cameras at Nessah.
Another example, they promised us high speed Internet. The cost, with budget overruns, over $40 million. Does it work? No.
The City Council is well known for issuing proclamations supporting distant good causes, such as for the people of Israel, and for increasing the city budget to $626 million. 32,000 residents. Did each of us receive city services worth $20,000 this year? No.
Support increasing public safety through smarter utilization of police and fire department resources, free high-speed Internet, AI to stop noisy street racers, and a Beverly Hills security hotline to ask to be escorted at night.
