As a proud, third-generation Beverly Hills resident, I grew up in the Flats, and I live in the Southwest. I know this city. I love this city, and Beverly Hills must do better.
Residents don't feel included - or heard. For too long, City Hall has failed to plan proactively – or meaningfully engage residents in major issues, while the state, lobbyists, developers, and special interests have gained too much influence.
That's why I am running for Beverly Hills City Council - Beverly Hills deserves experienced, independent leadership that puts the residents first.
Over the last 14 years, I have served Beverly Hills as a City Commissioner, currently as Chair of the Architectural and Design Review Commission and previously, Chair of the Cultural Heritage Commission. My professional experience and education from Brandeis University and USC inform my passion for smart policy, good governance, and community connection.
My priorities are clear: keep Beverly Hills the safest city in the region, restore accountability in our schools and city government, support every neighborhood—and responsibly address housing mandates while protecting what makes Beverly Hills extraordinary.
As your Councilmember, I will bring an unwavering commitment to community. It would be an honor to serve you, and be our voice at City Hall. Vote Rebecca Pynoos.
