Music, dance and cultural performances filled Beverly Gardens Park on Sunday as Festival Beverly Hills returned with artists representing traditions from around the world.

Festival Beverly Hills brought a day of international music, dance, food and cultural programming to Beverly Gardens Park on Sunday, July 12, with performances scheduled across multiple stages.

The city-produced festival opened with Viver Brasil Dance and Shivam Arts Dance, followed by an artist parade through the park. Performers in traditional clothing appeared near the Beverly Hills sign as visitors moved among stages, cultural activities and food vendors.

The Canon Stage schedule featured a headline appearance by Grammy Award winner Matt B and artist Zuri Marley, presented in collaboration with the Los Angeles Chapter of the Recording Academy. Their performance was scheduled from 2:15 to 3 p.m.

Matt B is a Chicago-born singer, songwriter and producer whose work combines R&B, Afrobeats and other international influences. His album ALKĒBULAN II received the Grammy Award for Best Global Music Album in 2025.

Marley, the daughter of musician Ziggy Marley, was born in Kingston, Jamaica, and later moved to the United States to attend New York University. Her work spans music, DJ performances, acting and modeling. She recently opened for her father during Reggae Night at the Hollywood Bowl.

The festival lineup also included Maruja Limón, Anibal Seminario, Elida Almeida, Black Cats, Klezmer Juice and cultural groups representing Brazilian, Indian, Indonesian, Bulgarian, Romanian, Chinese and Mayan traditions.

Scheduled programming extended beyond the main stage. The Lily Pond Stage hosted dance groups and cultural organizations throughout the afternoon, while other performers appeared across the park in front of one of Beverly Hills' most recognizable landmarks.

Mayor Craig Corman was scheduled to deliver remarks during the festival's welcome program. The event was organized by the Beverly Hills Community Services Department with support from the city's Arts and Culture Commission.
