Viral Brawl Erupts Inside Beverly Hills Steak 48

A physical fight between two women inside Beverly Hills restaurant Steak 48 has drawn widespread attention after video of the incident spread across social media and national news outlets.

As reported by TMZ, video from inside Steak 48 captures the confrontation as two women fight in the dining room while restaurant personnel attempt to intervene.

The footage shows the women exchanging punches and struggling with one another in the middle of the crowded dining room as nearby guests move away from the confrontation. At one point, both women fall to the floor while continuing to fight.

People who appear to be members of the restaurant staff eventually intervene and separate the women. Video from later in the incident shows one of the women remaining inside the restaurant after being asked to leave.

The circumstances that led to the confrontation have not been publicly established. The women shown in the video have not been publicly identified, and there has been no confirmed report that either was arrested or cited.

As of Aug. 15, publicly available reports also had not established whether the Beverly Hills Police Department was called to the restaurant or whether a criminal investigation was opened.

Steak 48 is located at 9680 Wilshire Boulevard near Roxbury Drive. The Beverly Hills location opened in January 2023 and is part of the restaurant group founded by Jeffrey and Michael Mastro, members of the family that previously created the Mastro's steakhouse brand.

The restaurant markets itself as an upscale fine-dining destination and maintains a formal dress policy for guests. Its Beverly Hills location includes multiple dining areas, a bar and lounge and an open kitchen.

The video quickly circulated beyond Beverly Hills after its release, turning an otherwise private restaurant confrontation into a widely viewed online incident. What started the fight, however, remains unknown.
