Wilshire Boulevard will be reduced to one lane in each direction during scheduled utility work beginning Saturday, October 10, as construction continues at One Beverly Hills, according to a traffic advisory issued by the City of Beverly Hills.
The affected stretch runs between North Santa Monica Boulevard and the Los Angeles Country Club. The work period extends through Sunday, December 6, 2026, and covers the installation of new and upgraded underground sewer and gas pipes.
The City's advisory lists weekend work hours of 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and weekday work hours of 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. The accompanying graphic specifies that lane closures will occur intermittently on most weekends during the daytime and on some weeknights within that period.
Left turns onto Whittier Drive are expected to remain available for most of the work period, but the City cautions that there will be days and times when those turns cannot be made.
The lane reductions are connected to the broader One Beverly Hills development, which the City identifies as under construction next to the Beverly Hilton, between Wilshire and Santa Monica boulevards. The project includes two condominium towers, an Aman hotel, retail and restaurant space, conference facilities and publicly accessible landscaped open space.
On its project information page, the City lists anticipated construction completion in 2028, with some portions potentially opening sooner. That timetable concerns the overall development; December 6 is the end of the work period listed in the current Wilshire Boulevard advisory.
Residents and motorists with questions about the lane closures can contact the One Beverly Hills Construction Hotline at (424) 252-1338. The City's project page also lists help-line@cain-dev.com for construction questions or complaints and provides a link to the developer's construction updates.
