Beverly Hills residents will soon have access to a new program aimed at reducing the cost of emergency medical response. City officials announced the launch of the BH Wellness Network, a voluntary membership service that lowers out-of-pocket fees for paramedic and ambulance care provided by the Beverly Hills Fire Department.
The program comes as many households face high bills for ambulance transport, which is often only partially covered by insurance. For an annual fee of $90, residents can enroll their entire household and receive reduced costs for emergency medical services delivered within the city.
“I am excited to launch this new initiative one designed to make healthcare more accessible, more affordable, and more compassionate for every Beverly Hills resident,” Mayor Sharona Nazarian said. “The BH Wellness Network brings our world-class Fire Department directly into the heart of our community by ensuring that when you need emergency care, cost is not a barrier. For just $90 a year, an entire household can receive paramedic and transport services for a nominal fee.”
Nazarian said the plan is part of a broader effort to strengthen the city’s safety net. “This is about giving our residents peace of mind, strengthening our safety net, and using innovation to support the health and well-being of every family in our city. And this is only the beginning. We will continue to expand this program with additional wellness services over the next year because a safer, stronger, and more united Beverly Hills includes access to the care people deserve.”
The service is available to all residents, including those who are uninsured. Savings will vary depending on the resident’s health coverage and the type of care required.
Enrollment opens December 1, 2025, with benefits beginning January 1, 2026. Residents can review details and apply through the city’s website at beverlyhills.org/bhwellnessnetwork.
