Beverly Vista Middle School welcomed incoming and current families to its 2026 Open House on February 3, providing an on-campus look at programs, classrooms, and student life.
The evening featured the school’s “Best in Show,” with departments across campus highlighting academic offerings and extracurricular programs. Families were able to visit classrooms and shared spaces while learning more about core academics, STEM, world languages, visual and performing arts, athletics, audio production, physical education, and enrichment programs.
Information tables were set up throughout campus, allowing families to speak directly with teachers, counselors, administrators, and staff. Students also participated in the event, helping guide families and share perspectives on daily life at Beverly Vista.
The event concluded with “BVMS Connections,” where current students led their parents through classroom visits, giving families a closer look at what instruction and learning look like during a typical school day.
The Open House was supported by the Beverly Vista Middle School PTA and included participation from staff, students, and families. The event was designed to give families a comprehensive overview of the campus experience and available programs.
Superintendent Dr. Alex Cherniss attended the Open House and emphasized the role of school events in connecting families with campuses.
“Beverly Vista Middle School exemplifies what it means to create a school community where students feel supported, challenged, and inspired,” Cherniss said. “Open House allows families to see firsthand the passion, innovation, and care that define the BVMS experience and our district as a whole.”
Beverly Vista Middle School thanked staff, students, families, and community partners for their participation in making the 2026 Open House possible.
