BHHS Honors Girls Varsity Soccer Seniors on Senior Night

Beverly Hills High School honored eight senior members of the Girls Varsity Soccer team during a Senior Night ceremony held Friday, January 16, recognizing years of commitment, leadership, and athletic excellence.

Seniors Tova Bodner, Emily Wolken, Alora Lontayo, Rachel Bar-Zion, Molly Westberg, Honor Maurer, Gabby Valencia, and Logan Strzelecki were celebrated on the field in front of family members, teammates, coaches, and members of the Beverly Hills High School community.

Each athlete was individually recognized alongside their families in a ceremony that reflected the dedication, perseverance, and pride they brought to the program throughout their time at BHHS.

“These young women have given their time, talent, and heart to this team,” said BHHS Principal Loan Sriruksa. “They represent the very best of Beverly Hills High School, and we are incredibly proud of all they have accomplished.”

The event was coordinated by the BHHS Athletics Department and the Girls Varsity Soccer coaching staff, including Coach Franks, Coach Dani Elitzur, Coach Rinaldi Djafar, Coach Michael Sun, and Coach Lily Manavi. Together, the coaching team has guided the players with a focus on growth, teamwork, and sportsmanship, both on and off the field.

Senior Night marked more than the conclusion of a season. It served as a moment to reflect on the development of each student-athlete and the values they will carry with them beyond high school. The leadership shown by the Class of 2026 has helped strengthen the foundation of the BHHS Girls Soccer program for future teams.

As graduation approaches, these eight seniors leave behind a legacy defined by perseverance, unity, and excellence, setting a high standard for the next generation of Beverly Hills High School student-athletes.
